For dry type transformers, we are an integrated manufacturer of both the raw material and finished fabricated parts for winding combs, phase barriers, coil shims, and coil duct strips (dogbones).

As an independent source for insulation components, we have the ability to supply insulation materials for all makes, models, and manufacturers of electric motors.
Electric furnaces consume large amounts of electricity, requiring extensive power supply equipment from transformers to switchgear to related buswork. The Gund Company manufactures a complete line of insulation components for electric furnace applications.
For standby generator sets, The Gund Company supplies the world’s leading generator manufacturers with stator and armature insulation materials. We also supply NEMA GPO-3 material for automatic transfer switch applications. For critical power applications, The Gund Company also manufactures complete insulation systems for power supplies that back up everything from computers to sensitive operating room equipment.
In addition, we supply fabricated components for MRI machines, radiolucent composite materials for hospital beds, and X-ray machines.
