IDEAL FOR SUPPORTING BUS BARS OR OTHER LIVE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS.

These components exhibit strong mechanical and electrical insulating properties, manufactured from UL-recognized fiberglass reinforced, flame resistant, thermoset polyester molding compound. The Gund Company Standoff Insulators are UL-recognized panelboard, and switchboard accessories that comply with the brace and support requirements of UL 891 Annex G.

THE MOST IDEAL FLAME-RETARDENT MATERIAL FOR VIRTUALLY ANY POWER INSULATION ENVIRONMENT

Developed by The Gund Company, PolyPro FR® is a UL-listed flame retardent polypropylene extruded for electrical and thermal insulation applications in power system equipment. PolyPro FR® features exceptional dielectric strength, high chemical and moisture resistance, and an elevated temperature rating.

Found in industries such as telecommunications, electric vehicles, home appliances, renewable energy, power distribution, electronics, and more, this material is a universal and low-cost solution for many applications.

Our generator application and engineering teams have years of experience solving generator insulation and schedule challenges. RotoGuard® has been used by repair and OEM customers for over 20 years and is the primary insulation found in more than 500 fields in service today.

The Gund Company’s aerospace manufacturing process results in the production of high-quality slot armor. The result is a series of high-quality generator insulation products that save installation and schedule time and help prevent premature failure.

SPECIALLY CRAFTED TO IMPROVE OIL-FILLED AND DRY-TYPE TRANSFORMER PERFORMANCE

G-board™ is The Gund Company’s line of pressboard materials, offering both cellulose-based and aramid paper products. G-board™ is utilized in power, distribution, and specialty transformers as a base insulating material. G-board is transformed into components using a variety of techniques, including sawing, punching, planing, sanding, milling and gluing.

EMBEDDED TEMPERATURE MONITORING OF MOTORS AND GENERATORS

The RTD can be embedded in either NEMA G-11 or The Gund Company’s Semi-Conductive materials up to 109 inches for installation into the stator of your application. NEMA G-11 provides mechanical protection for the RTD during the installation phase and protects the RTD throughout its life span. The Semi-Conductive material provides the same mechanical protection with the added benefit of corona dissipation.
