SUBROV APPLICATIONS
This ROV system is controlled and operated from a submarine, making it an efficient and effective tool for deep-sea exploration. The SUBROV system comprises an ROV, winch, tether management system, and an operator console. Its integration is straightforward, and no modification of the submarine is necessary at this level of integration. The vehicle is battery-powered, enabling the use of a long thin fiber optical tether for vehicle control and sensor data telemetry. The SUBROV system utilizes a modular design to facilitate ease of fault tracing, removal, repair, and replacement of components. Its winch maintains tether length and tension during operations, keeping the tether safe during operation and stowage. PIPE AND TANK SUPPORTS
The Gund Company has the broadest pipe and tank support products today. Custom pipe and tank supports are fabricated from many different material options. Molded supports are also available from our proprietary VARTM support molding process.
RANPREX®, thanks to its physical and mechanical characteristics and excellent resistance to low and high temperatures, finds many applications in the Cryogenic Industry.
It is used to make supports, anti-floating chocks, anti-rolling chocks, fixed blocks, and sliding blocks for tanks into LPG, LNG, and ethylene carriers. Moreover, constructing onshore trains for liquid gas transport is used to manufacture base supports, trunnion supports, insulating washers, pipe supports, and insulating pipe collars.
RANPREX®, Laminated Densified Wood, is supplied either in plates with standard formats, semi-finished, cut-to-size pieces, or fully machined according to the customer’s drawing.
