How to Effectively Use Magnetic Wedges in Motors and Generators

MagNohl

Webinar Description:  As the world seeks to improve the efficiency of motors and generators, manufacturers must look for all options to enhance designs. One way this can be achieved is by utilizing magnetic wedges in their stator designs. In this webinar, we will review the products’ materials, applications, and proper use. We will also discuss common failures and what causes these in applications using magnetic wedges.

Webinar topics will include::

  • Magnetic wedges 101
  • Theory of their application in Motors and Generators
  • Technical Data comparison of the materials used
  • Address concerns over the use of magnetic wedges
  • Proper use and installation
  • Reducing field failures
