Manufactured in the United States, PolyPro FR® is a UL-Listed V0 flame retardant polypropylene extruded for high and low-voltage electrical insulation applications. PolyPro FR® can be converted using traditional converting techniques and thermoformed to match complex shapes.
The Gund Company’s aerospace manufacturing process results in the production of high-quality slot armor. Rotoguard® is the most uniform and consistent slot insulation commercially available today. The result is a series of high-quality generator insulation products that save installation and schedule time and help prevent premature failure.
G-Flex™ APA laminates can be used as slot, phase, end turn insulation, ground, and wrapper insulation in dry-type transformers, generators, and various punched and fabricated parts. These laminates can be employed in hermetic applications since they have minimal volatiles. Standard 36-inch-wide rolls on 3-inch diameter cores are ordered. Requests for slit-width rolls, cut sheets, unusual core sizes, and non-standard lengths may be possible.
Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDS)
The RTD can be embedded in either NEMA G-11 or The Gund Company’s Semi-Conductive materials up to 109 inches for installation into the stator of your application. NEMA G-11 provides mechanical protection for the RTD during the installation phase and protects the RTD throughout its life span. The Semi-Conductive material provides the same mechanical protection with the added benefit of corona dissipation.
